“I have been working in the procurement and contract management sector for the past 10 years. Although I am very well experienced in this field, I felt the need to further my studies in project management to attain the necessary skills and knowledge to be able to manage and control my projects efficiently. For this reason, I decided to apply for the MQF Level 6 Certificate in Project Management offered by Malta Business School (MBS).
The course has been quite intensive and required a high level of commitment. However, the course material and the resources provided by Malta Business school were very well structured, which made it easy to follow and to complete this course successfully. This would not have been possible if it was not for Mr. Roderick Abela, the tutor, who was very professional and knowledgeable about the subject and always made sure that all the lessons, along with the workshops, were interesting. I found that the workshops were very well organised and allowed students to share and learn from each other’s work experiences.
This course was very relevant to my job as it helped me put what I learned into practice and taught me different methods and tools to improve my business skills including, but not limited to, my communication, critical thinking, problem-solving, leadership and time management skills.
I truly recommend Malta Business School and this course to anyone who wishes to gain a deeper understanding of project management and to advance in their career.”

“After a 15 year hiatus from any kind of academic endeavour, I decided to take the Level 6 Certificate in Project Management programme at Malta Business School (MBS). At first, it proved to be a daunting experience, between re-engaging with the basics of a learning environment and juggling demanding work schedules. Over time, I found my feet and began to immerse myself in the programme, consequently widening my horizons and developing my understanding of what project management is all about.
Dealing with the challenges of absorbing significant amounts of information, assimilating complex concepts and negotiating tight deadlines, whilst maintaining other on-going work and life commitments, was a tall order and, at times, I will admit, I was at my wit’s end. It was all worth the effort and sacrifice. On receiving the final result, I felt a deep sense of satisfaction and accomplishment, of knowing I kept my eye on the prize, dug deep and successfully saw it through. It was the most gratifying, proud, and at the same time, humbling moments of my academic life.
I could not have done it without the excellent support provided at all levels by MBS. The programme administrators were life-savers, especially considering the extraordinarily difficult situation due to the pandemic. I found the tutors to be well-informed on all aspects of their respective fields, always ready to coach and guide me with insightful observations and suggestions. They knew when to let me ‘get on with it’ at my own pace, when to nudge me to consider different approaches and when to tell me to ‘pull my socks up’. I deeply appreciate their input which proved to be invaluable.
If anyone reading this is inclined to embark on the significantly challenging and potentially rewarding experience of taking a management programme, it’s a non-decision for me: MBS would, hands down, again be my number one choice.”
“I am a hands-on person. In fact, I obtained my previous qualifications from the Technical Institute, back in the day. I avoid settling within my comfort zone and I am a person who always wants to achieve more. This led me into different jobs with various companies, allowing me to learn how to deal with different people over time. By gaining work experience, I climbed up the career ladder and am now a project manager. I wanted to deepen my knowledge on the subject, so I decided to pursue studies in the field.
After extensive research, I found that Malta Business School offered the best solution for my hectic lifestyle. I enrolled for the Level 6 Certificate in Project Management and never looked back. The course helped me improve my way of thinking about on-going projects, which was especially beneficial during the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic. I can definitely say that this course has been of great benefit to my career and that this solid certification has helped me think more strategically. It is the right choice for anyone who wants to go from being an average project manager, to an outstanding one.”

The course material is both interesting and meaningful, making it applicable to everyday work. At every step, the lecturer went above and beyond to support us, but also to challenge us. On the whole, I think the entire program is very well structured and designed, adding tremendous value to my long-term career aspirations.”
